Sorry. I'm generally haven't problems understanding some people. Do you lot go out looking for faults? I mean, Christ people, can't you just go with the flow and enjoy it regardless? 'They ran out of beer.' This left me fucked to, as I had no grass and I don't do pills. So what! Funnily enough, I can actually enjoy myself sober. 'No running order.' So what. If they had of put up some sort of list, it would've got nicked anyway. 'Bands where shite.' Well, that's your problem, and to be honest, I doubt some of you would have been happy even if god himself had of come down and done a quick set. So, I take it all the people moaning won't be coming to the next one? Well thank god for that. well, as someone who stayed firmly in the states, i can say that some people have been absolutely obsessed with said party. it's been planned and scheduled for ages now with all these names that "everyone loves". with that much anticipation and anxiety, there are bound to be let-downs. i'm sure if these same people paid 20 squid for a ticket to a random show that "might be tops", had all the same problems, but were then surprised to find all these people playing, they'd love it. but since they all knew like 4 years in advance (hehe) what to expect, then anything less than perfect would be dismal. it's that whole "self fulfilling prophecy" bollocks. they assumed that the party was too good to be true. so they made it bad. :) cheers, and hello you other umn peepz i just found out were watching me on the list :b so yeah. down with planning! /derek At 08:37 AM 10/17/2000 +0100, Ben Hatchelt wrote:
